Thomas Ogden - Chief Executive
Tom has worked in the care sector for the past 10 years. He began as a Personal Carer and advanced through roles including Senior, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager, Business Development, Marketing and PR and Director. For the past four years, he has held Senior Management positions.
Throughout his career, Tom has completed all his Qualifications and Diplomas and accumulated extensive knowledge and experience in the sector.
He greatly enjoys visiting the homes, witnessing the excellent work and interactions between the teams and those using their services. Spending time with clients is particularly special to him, as he appreciates the many fantastic stories they have to share.
Tom has worked across a range of health and social care providers in England and Europe, having started his career as a Health Care Assistant in Malta during the winter months and Nursing Assistant in Corfu, Greece during the summer, before holding leadership roles in healthcare. Most recently, he led the Department of Education’s Adoption and special guardianship support fund (ASGSF) for Yorkshire and Humber as the Commissioner in One Adoption. Prior to that, he spent several years with Private Health and Social Care Providers as Nominated Individual for the Care Quality Commission where he worked across Cumbria, Northeast, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire commissioning Brand New state of the art Residential with Nursing homes and troubleshooting homes that had been rated ‘inadequate’ turning them round to be ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ services.
Tom ensures that both staff and clients know who he is, always making himself available for a chat and a cuppa.
