We’re seeking a passionate and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant. The right candidate will be responsible for acting as the person-to-person link between our doctors and patients, providing support and education to patients with chronic conditions and assisting with direct patient care. We are looking for a professional with a background in assisting healthcare professionals and an ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency situations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and medical staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Gather and dispose of medical waste.
• Handle instruments and equipment safely.
• Adhere to infection control protocols.
• Treat others with respect and compassion.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Salary: £10.00-£15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Care home: 1 year (preferred)

Work authorisation:

• United Kingdom (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (required)
